2:00 - 4:00 PM - Couples Sensual Massage, utilizing the “Six Sensual Senses” with Beltana

In a sacred, safe, secluded and privately consecrated grove, we will show you how to perform a basic massage on your partner, utilizing all six of your sensual senses.  To make it even more sensual, the massage recipient will be blindfolded.  You will then be encouraged to take what you have learned, and switch positions later tonight, on your own!  Adult couples/trios of any sex are invited to attend.  (Adults over 18 only, please. A bracelet identifying you as an adult over 18 will be required to attend.) 

Turtle Pond A shuttle will be available to take all of the workshop participants to the area together, as it is rather remote, and a goodly trek from the main campsite. (Ask Holly or check registration for shuttle details.)

To Bring: Yourselves, a blanket and/or yoga or other mat/mattress.  A few mats may be provided.  Sacred and blessed massage oils will be mixed prior to the workshop, by each couple, (if desired) choosing your favorite scents.  Oil mixing materials provided, unless you’d like to bring your own.

4:00 - 5:30 PM - Sensual Feast - For those of you who have never been to a sensual feast... imagine a potluck feast of food both warm and cold, of every variety are present.  Now here is the catch... no one is allowed to feed themselves.... and no utensils are permitted.  Beyond that, anything safe and consensual goes! Thus we come to the reminder that all participants are to be physically clean, and this event is limited to those 18 years of age and older.  (Sorry!)  So please come join us for a further exploration of the senses... where imagination and experimentation are key.  Eldritch Grove

A Dungeon Master (abbreviated as DM, also known as a Game Master or GM) serves as the game's referee and storyteller, while also maintaining the setting in which the adventures occur. During each game session, the players listen to descriptions of their characters' surroundings, as well as additional information and potential choices from the DM, then describe their actions in response. The characters form a party that interacts with the setting's inhabitants (and each other). 11:00 - 12:00 PM - Beltane Baskets with Holly “Let’s Go A Maying!”  The history of May Baskets goes back to the days of visiting one another's homes, decorating with garlands & presenting hopeful sweethearts with offerings.  Bring a small basket or many to present to old friends & new in our "little village."  To Bring: Baskets, ribbons, dried & silk flowers, small thoughtful gifts to tuck inside. Bring a few, you may make a new friend during the weekend you just wont want to leave out.  Baskets are to be delivered Saturday night before you retire outside recipients to be chanced upon on awakening Sunday morning.  Popular items that have been stowed away in baskets: always flowers, small candles, soaps, bath salts, lip glosses, stones, shells, handmade jewelry, oils, bells, incense, seeds, candies & chocolates, cocoas & coffees, etc.  If you havent read the guide prior to arrivial we may have some extra baskets at limited supply & our vendors are sure to have lots of goodies!  Registration Tent

12:00 - 2:00 PM - WICCA'S WO NDER YEARS: Witchcraft in 1960's Pop Culture - Mike Nichols - Using a variety of sound clips from classic TV and films, Mike will explore some of the popular conceptions (and misconceptions) about Witchcraft that were current during that groovy decade of the 1960's. Mike argues that these halcyon days just happened to coincide with the "imaginative childhood" of the modern Neo-Pagan movement, and probably influenced it in ways far more profound than is commonly realized.

4:00 - 5:00 PM - Introduction to Paranormal Investigation Part I with Jamie & Matthew -  Come join us for a ghost hunting and investigating 101-102 class, bring your equipment and your evidence for review, see photos, hear EVP’s and watch video evidence from real investigations.      Then, later that night we will put what you have learned into a real investigation with your hosts.  We will also have a practice and short session for those who are sensitives on identifying objects and psychic self-defense.  Using equipment such as: A Hi-8 Night vision camcorder, 2 Digital Voice Recorders, 1 Digital Camera, 2 Digital Camcorders, 4 IR CCTV Cameras, 4 Channel Digital Video Recorder, & Digital Thermal Temp gauges, we will explore the existence of those on the “Other Side.”  This is a two-part workshop, to be concluded at midnight tonight!  Bring: Your own chair or something to sit on, if desired.  MAIN STAGE

5:00 - 6:30 PM - Polyamorous Relationships; Constructing a New Story for Committed Relationships with Delta, Mike Nichols, & Sionna Lochlainn - In 1990, Morning Glory Zell-Ravenheart published an article in the Beltane issue of Green Egg entitled "A Bouquet of Lovers". The article discussed the strategies she and others had developed for building well thought out, non-monogamous relationships. This article marked a watershed point in time, coining the phrase “polyamorous” and bringing this relational framework into the light of day.  Similar to the “traditional” one-man-with-one-woman relationships, both good and bad experiences are possible.  Delta will focus on making polyamorous relationships loving, strong, and viable in the 21st Century.  Mike will provide a historical context for non-monogamous practices in pre-Christian, Pagan cultures.  And Cheryl, a psychiatric nurse, will provide practical methods for promoting the emotional and physical health of those involved in poly relationships.  A discussion forum will be provided to consider useful ways a “bouquet” of committed friends and lovers can be organized and fashioned to fit the needs of 21st Century relationships in responsible and loving ways. What to bring: Something to sit on if desired.  MAIN STAGE

6:30 - 7:30 PM - Slave Auction  MC TBA    MAIN STAGE  Would you like to volunteer to be a “slave” for two hours, for a good cause?  At this humorous “Slave” auction we will auction off some of Wolvenwold’s best, hardest working “slaves,” (chosen family and friends that will be offered to the highest bidders...) and you can make them work for you for two full hours this evening or tomorrow morning!  You may decide upon your choice of “work,” within reasonable guidelines, of course.  (Suggestions might be cleaning up a campsite, washing dishes, giving backrubs and foot massages, cooking, tending a fire, washing or brushing someone’s hair or grooming them for a big night, singing, playing music or telling stories, showering one with complements for the duration of their “servant’s workshift...” use your imaginations!  Be nice, but be sure to keep your slave “in line,” too!)  All in good fun.  All proceeds go to Wolvenwold for the care and improvements of the land.

Ever changing, ever evolving, an unlikely pisces beating her drum unto whichever path the universe sends her with open curiosity & a twinkle in the eye.  When not on the road with the BellaWyck Love Bus (...drums, various percussives, slight vocals : )) or sleeping on the stage at Wolvenwold; Holly can be found aggrivating her "rock of love" husband David, guiding & gently molding her tribe of six, Halen, Kristen, Amelia, Maxwell, Jake & Eglantine, badgering roadies, work weekenders & staff memebers, buried in her studio under a variety of medium that strike the fancy at the time & color the world, digging in the dirt, scribbling words, dancing in the river or eating bagels with her best friend Sifu UncleDaddy.

Mike Nichols is the celebrated author of "The Witches' Sabbats" book and Web site - the ultimate resource on Pagan holidays and related writings - and a contributing author to "Creating Circles & Ceremonies". Mike has been a featured speaker on National Public Radio (NPR), Spiral Dance Radio, and Eclectic Pagan Podcast (episodes 16 and 22) on iTunes. He does extensive online teaching and writing, occasionally guest lectures at Pagan festivals, and performs in a Pagan band called Spellbound. A pioneer in the American neo-Pagan movement, Nichols taught classes in Witchcraft for twenty years continuously, from 1970 to 1989, in Columbia and Kansas City, Missouri, through the Communiversity and at his bookstore, The Magick Lantern. He was also the editor of "The Lantern's Light", the store's semi-quarterly Pagan journal. Sionna Lochlainn has been High Priestess of Elysium Coven in Kansas City since 1994, which is a legally recognized church in the state of Missouri, offering rites of passage, legal clergy, counseling and classes in Witchcraft. She is a long term member of the Heartland Spiritual Alliance (serving as president for four years), the organization that hosts the annual Heartland Pagan Festival, the largest Pagan festival in the Midwest. Although not a licensed psychologist, she has had much experience in spiritual counseling for alternative lifestyles and, together with her husband, routinely hosts workshops and events for the Midwest Polyamory community.

 

 Delta is a lifetime native of the Ozarks, raised on a dairy farm southeast of Springfield, MO.  She came to the Craft late in life in 1988. Trained in the Blue Star Tradition, she has served as priestess to two active covens in the Springfield area, has conducted public classes on Wicca and Paganism, presented to numerous undergraduate and graduate level classes, and is currently serving as the facilitator for Living Wicca, a Springfield discussion group open to the public. In the past, she has served as a core member of the safety and security team, The Guardians. She has worked with them in that capacity at many festivals such as Pagan Spirit Gathering as well as several others along the east and southeast coast states. She is a fourth year graduate student in clinical psychology, specializing in trauma, social constructionism, and social and cultural diversity.

 

Matthew S. Bell has been involved with paranormal Investigation for over 15 years.  He has been on investigations all over Missouri and in other states.  He has also been on explorations in Scotland, Spain, France, and Thailand.  (Matthew is also on Wolvenwold’s crew this year serving as a stagehand/roadie & member of safety/maintenance staff)

 

Jamie Fierro has been a paranormal researcher for the past 20 years, a subjective and humorous speaker, with back ground in ufology, cryptozoology, and helping those with metaphysical “issues.”

 

Silvanus Moonspirit is a 16 year practitioner of the Craft.  He began studying other religions at the age of 10 and found the path of Wicca at the age of 13.  Silvanus is an ordained minister and teacher of the Craft.  He earned his 1st-4th Degrees in Wicca and Witchcraft under the tutelage of Emeraldmoon Windsong.  Silvanus has been teaching for 2 years at Practically Enchanted.

Rhiannon DragonRaine is a 12 year practitioner of Wicca and Tarot Reader. On her journey she has studied in various realms of Wicca, including Working with Star River Coven, Reclaiming Colorado Springs, Misty Mountain Coven and Colorado Springs Witches. In the past year Rhiannon has began studying through University of Sedona and University of Metaphysics via correspondence. Rhiannon has earned a bachelor’s in Metaphysical Science and is now pursuing her Master’s Degree. Rhiannon is an ordained minister, and in the past few months has begun teaching with Silvanus MoonSpirit through Practically Enchanted.

Get Free Entries!!  Win Cool Stuff and festival-site-wide praise and recognition!  This is our most exciting contest yet!!!  You will have had to notice the call for the contest on our website beforehand, and brought your own supplies to enter the contest... or, you may simply come to the workshop, and learn how to do this with us anyway!  It’s going to be lots of fun, and the winner (for the whole year, tba at Soule Feste in October) gets a big, big prize.

 

Buy a Bucket O’ Stones!

At the registration booth, for a mere $5 donation, you can offer to buy a bucket of stones to help improve our roads leading into the site!  You can say that “you were here” before we had real roads!

 

Slave Auction

We will auction off some of Wolvenwold’s best, hardest working “slaves,” (chosen family and friends that will be offered to the highest bidders...) and you can make them work for you for two full hours this afternoon!  You may decide upon your choice of “work,” within reasonable guidelines, of course.  (Suggestions might be cleaning up a campsite, washing dishes, giving backrubs and foot massages, cooking, washing someone’s hair or grooming them for a big night, singing, playing music or telling a story, showering one with complements for the duration of their “servant’s workshift...” use your imagination!  All proceeds go to Wolvenwold for the care and improvements of the land.

 

Raffle

Many Wonderful items donated by our vendors will be raffled off and given out to the winners on Sunday morning at ten A.M.  You DO need to be present to win!!!  All Proceeds go to Wolvenwold.  Volunteers will make their way around camp daily to sell these chances for some swell stuff... and if you miss the daily rounds, you can visit Iriseyes at Iris & Willows Delights, who will have the tickets at her booth, along with other fun fundraising chances to win even more great pagan merchandise!!!  Ask about the “devil duckees!”

 

Guess the JelleyBelly!

At the registration tent, we will have a large container filled full of gourmet jellybeans, and you can take a chance to guess at just how many jellybeans are in the pot, each try costs only .50! (proceeds go to  the land fund!)  The winner will not only receive a wonderful grand prize, but the pot of JellyBelly’s as well!  Yum!  Happy Happy Beltane!
